For our build partner Baywest Homes, McDowell & Associates is thrilled to have designed this year’s Foothills Hospital Home Lottery Grand Prize Show Home valued at $3.3 million.
Located in the serene and picturesque community of Harmony, this exceptional bungalow offers the perfect combination of luxury and craftsmanship. As the crown jewel of Springbank’s only master-planned lake community, this show home is truly one of a kind, and we’re honoured to have designed it.

The Baywest team was drawn to the Prairie Style for its simplicity and its natural connection to the prairie landscape. So with a desired aesthetic, a list of requirements (from the builder and the community), we had a blank canvas.
With expansive lakeside and mountain views, we leveraged this pristine site by creating vantage points from all principal rooms, which also flood the home with southern light. The original plan called for a bungalow design, but upon our first site visit, a second floor retreat was warranted to take full advantage of the property’s unique frontage.
With plush furnishings and rich materials, the interior feels both sophisticated and warm – inviting you to live, entertain and unwind with ease. The great room and dining room offer floor-to-ceiling views of the lake, while an entire wing is dedicated to the principal suite, providing privacy and comfort.
Designed to be fully accessible, this home features an elevator for seamless access to each level to age in place. A basement wet bar, wine storage, light-drenched gym complete with a spa face four outdoor spaces designed to bring the perfect balance of indoor luxury and outdoor relaxation.
